Review your kids’ Internet and Instant Messenger history to see who they are talking to online. check your ISPs logs. As long as they are not of age to figure out how to erase it, this is a good way of viewing their conversations and seeing what they do online. Just click the “History” icon in your browser and search the “Archives” to read past conversations. In Instant Messenger applications, check under “History.” If your kids need to use an alias for online activities, make sure they don’t use their real name. Keep everything as anonymous as possible, so you don’t have to worry about someone figuring out your child’s identity or personal information. Broadband is getting faster and faster so in an effort to keep up with constant changes, you need to become proactive.
